Like all fuel additives that make the same crazy claims, "Shot In The Gas" products are alleged to vastly improve gas mileage as well as reduce harmful emissions.  And I think like all the rest, they are a total fraud.  The reality is that their claims have absolutely no basis in fact.

If you Google the names and products, you will find most returns are about the company's stock sales.  This appears to be the lion share of how they are making profit, if any.  The discussion is focused on stock performance and mergers rather than proving the product, but I think the simple truth is that these con-artists are stealing money from an ignorant public.

There is simply no science to support their claims that a pill could do what they say, and there are mountains of evidence against them.  They never describe what the product actually is to avoid any independent testing, and they offer only anonymous anecdotes and stories of non-scientific "tests" that are completely devoid of verifiable facts or data.

In this age of high gas prices and financial difficulty, "Green Scams" are becoming more and more popular with those that perpetrate them.  Any advertiser that only repeats claims instead of proving them is not to be trusted.  I believe that "Skybridge Technology Group" (SKGO) and "Shot In The Gas" (a Florida corporation) are scam organizations out to defraud consumers and investors alike.

First, I'd like to restate that nothing here is personal, nor are we out to cause any personal, financial or emotional harm to the owners or employees of anyone we profile.  I do take great personal offense to anyone that steals from others, but our Scam Alerts are not a personal matter.  They are about the truth and demand scientific proof in the form of real data, which is the only thing that will be discussed here, not any individual's personal experiences or opinions.

If anyone wishes to debate any issue I raise like logical adults, I invite them to do so here, in public.  So in that spirit of fair play, I have a few honest questions for anyone that cares to answer.

   1. Why should I or anyone try Shot In The Gas or any product that has no scientific explanation and which is not explained by the seller?

   2. What exactly is Shot In The Gas made of? I.e., what is the chemical formulation and physical makeup?

   3. How does Shot In The Gas actually work? I.e., describe in detail the actual mechanism(s) by which your claimed effects occur. Specifically, that Shot In The Gas will provide a 15% increase in fuel economy and 60% reduction in emissions as stated on your website.

   4. Who (full names and credentials) actually designed or discovered Shot In The Gas?

   5. When was Shot In The Gas first developed?

   6. Who (full names and company information) actually manufactures, packages and distributes Shot In The Gas?

   7. Where (full physical addresses) is Shot In The Gas made, packaged and distributed from?

   8. Why isn't there any testable scientific data or information about Shot In The Gas available to the public?

All claims require verifiable scientific data, from independent sources... aka... Prove it.

In short, prove to the world scientifically that Shot In The Gas works.  If you do, I will publicly apologize and become a champion for your products.  If you don't, then no one should trust you or buy your junk.

Here is a link to another site that suggests Shot In The Gas is a scam.  I'll add to this list as I find things.

There is a lot of talk about "stock bashers" who say bad things about certain stocks in order to make money when they drop.

SKGO seems particularly worried about these alleged stock bashers.  Heck, their recent quarterly report has a whole paragraph about it, but oddly no numbers.  I wonder why stock bashers are targeting SKGO so much?  Hmmm...

Just so this is clear.  Neither Swiftek, nor any of it's owners controls any stock in SKGO/Shot In The Gas or any of their competitors.  We have no interest beyond the public service in the success or failure of any stock and no interest in SKGO or any other company owned or operated by employees of Shot In The Gas, or any of their competitors.

A funny footnote:

I guess this site is more popular than I thought.  I'm finding references to it all over the place.

Here's just one of the threat letters I received in response to this thread.  You may notice that they have not responded to my charges in any way... just threatened legal action.  You may also notice how they think they can keep me from posting it publicly (my copy didn't include that idiotic statement).

http://www.minamargroup.com/docs/bashers/shotinthegas.pdf  When they pull this off their own site, I will post my copy here.

Oh, and by the way, I still think that Shot In The Gas is a complete fraud and cannot possibly do anything they say it does, and SKGO is also a complete fraud, run by scammers who are out to steal stock suckers money.

Remember, "defamation" requires that the statements be false.  Go ahead, prove me wrong!

Welcome Facebook visitors!

We've been getting a lot of traffic from Facebook, and I can only assume that is due to the link provided by the CEO of Shot In The Gas who owns "Stockbasher.com" and apparently wanted everyone to see my profile.

Thanks!

Welcome Goldman Sachs employees!

I was pleasantly surprised to see several IPs assigned to Goldman Sachs mobile devices viewing this thread at the same time today.  It would seem that we are having quite an effect on the popularity of the Shot In The Gas scam.  I'm not sure what that effect is yet, but the more the word gets out, the better.

Consumers and stock buyers alike deserve to know that any claim to increase fuel economy or reduce emissions by adding something to gasoline or diesel fuel is fraud.  If I did trade stocks, I would want to know if the company's product was a scam or not, and Skybridge Technology Group's (SKGO) Shot In The Gas is clearly a scam.  Stock traders beware!

Visitors are reminded that I am happy to answer questions and/or debate this issue at any time.  Thanks for coming!

I found an excellent blog that does a thorough investigation of Skybrdge Technology Group (SKGO) and some companies and people that are in cahoots with them.

I must admit that I am somewhat humbled by Battle Light and the level of detail put into that piece.  I think it is an excellent example of good investigation energetically combined with good writing.

As for my "battle" with SKGO/Mina Mar, I've not heard from anyone since that first letter (well, pair of letters).  Perhaps it was just a hollow threat...   Wink
