Pinellas Computer Club

The "Pinellas Computer Club" is up and running, and everyone is invited to join us for free!  I've migrated all the good content from the old site over to this new one.  Members get Free Premium Email.

It's a place to discuss just about anything technical, including Computers, The Internet & World Wide Web, Audio / Video, Car & Truck Repair, Alternative Energy, as well as just about anything else.  We also have a Consumer Protection section for exposing and discussing local scams and how to keep from becoming a victim.  If you comment on an article, it will automatically create a thread for it in the new forum.

We are using another great example of Free, Open Source Software to run our forum called Simple Machines Forum (SMF).  I've customized it a bit, but SMF is very popular and you may recognize from other forum sites around the web.

Anyone can read it, and Members can post their questions, help each other out, or just talk about what makes you happy.  There is even a private message system to keep in touch with your friends.  If there's a need, we can turn on the Calendar too.  Just ask if you want to post your events.

By the way, Swiftek clients get special treatment (of course), so if you have any questions, go right ahead and ask.  We'll see you there!
